About Me
Hi, I’m Vanessa Bolado, a driven and passionate computer science student, on track to graduate in May 2027. Although I initially chose computer science in college as an unsure high school student, I quickly discovered my deep love for technology and problem-solving. Since then, I’ve been fully committed to growing my skills and exploring all the opportunities this dynamic field has to offer. With hands-on experience in programming languages like Java and Python, I’m eager to keep pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and expand my professional experience in the tech industry.
My Projects
Wordle
This project is a backend implementation of the popular word-guessing game, Wordle. In this game, players have six attempts to guess a secret five-letter word. After each guess, feedback is provided in the form of colored tiles indicating which letters are correct and in the right position, or correct but in the wrong position.
View ProjectTicTacToe
This project contains a classic implementation of Tic-Tac-Toe, the simple yet timeless two-player game where opponents compete to be the first to align three symbols horizontally, vertically, or diagonally on a 3x3 grid.
View ProjectBloomberg Tech Lab On Campus
This project was made during a Bloomberg event, where we esigned and implemented a message queue system with RabbitMQ in Python, improving real-time data processing between producer and consumer components.
